Volunteer for Gold Fest
Thank you for your interest in volunteering for Gold Fest! This event would not be possible without the help of the amazing volunteers who step up every year to make Gold Fest a success.

Volunteer shifts are two hours long. Volunteers who work more than one shift will receive a $10 token that can be spent at the Food Court and/or Artisan Market during the festival. All volunteers will receive a Gold Fest T-shirt to wear during their shift.

Volunteers should plan to attend an informational meeting the week before Gold Fest. More information about this meeting will be sent out closer to the event date.

Event Volunteer Areas
Event Setup
Involves assisting with the setup of the Experience El Dorado tent, vendor tents/stations and hanging event signage.
​
Experience El Dorado Tent
Involves assisting with volunteer check-in, providing general information to event guests and VIP guest check-in.
​
Runner
Involves assisting as needed throughout the shift and event areas. Reports to volunteer coordinator and event coordinator and works as a go-between.
​
Kids Zone
Involves assisting with zone set up, staff zones, supervising and interacting with child guests and zone tear down.
​
Contest Setup
Involves assisting with setting up pie eating contest and burger eating contest tables, chairs, food items and contest clean up.
​
Artisan Market
Involves assisting with vendor load in and setup, watching booths as needed and vendor booth tear down and load out.
​
Hospitality Room
Involves assisting with badge checks, restocking and cleanup as needed, photo backdrop setup and tear down and watching valuables.

Tear Down​​​​​​
Involves assisting with tear down of Experience El Dorado tent, event signage and general packing up of all event materials and equipment.
