Gold Fest Vendor Information

Thank you for your interest in vending at Gold Fest 2025! The Artisan Market at Gold Fest promotes handmade and locally produced merchandise.

​

Vendors must apply and be accepted in order to participate. Vendors and merchandise are subject to review and approval. Multi-tier and direct sales businesses will not be approved. 

​

All vendors must submit an application by Sept. 1, 2025. Once the application is approved, the vendor will be contacted.

 

Vendor fee: $50

Food truck fee: $100

Sponsors, 501c3 and non-profits: Free

El Dorado Farmers & Art Market vendors receive $10 discount on booth fees.

Gold Fest Information

Gold Fest is returning to downtown this year! The Artisan Market will be located on Main Street just north of Central.

​

Gold Fest is free to attend, although some specific events may be pay-to-play. Previous years have seen 3,000 to 5,000 attendees.

​

Festival hours: 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Artisan Market hours: 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Food Court hours: 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Bar hours: 4:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Collecting Sales Tax

All vendors must provide proof of valid State of Kansas Tax ID with application.

​

The vendor list and tax ID numbers are provided to the Kansas Department of Revenue annually.

​

All federal, state, and local laws governing retail sales tax must be followed.​

Vendor Licenses and Insurance

Food vendors must provide Food Establishment License from the Kansas Department of Agriculture. Food and Bar vendors must provide proof of insurance for $1 million with the City of El Dorado listed as an additional insured with application. 

​

Proof of appropriate licenses must be onsite. Festival vendors are subject to inspection by the Kansas Department of Agriculture and Kansas Department of Health and Environment.

Vendor Booth Space

Artisan Market vendors will receive a 10-foot by 10-foot outdoor booth space and must stay within their space.

Bar and Food vendors will receive adequate space for truck and/or canopy.​

​

Vendors must provide their own electricity, using quiet generators. Trash carts will be at each food and bar vendor space.

​

Vendors must provide their own tents/canopies, tables and chairs. Tents/canopies must be weighted.

Vendor Load-In and Load-Out

Food truck check-in at 10 a.m.

Artisan Market check-in from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

​

Vendors will not be able to load out until the concert is finished, approximately 10 p.m.

​

We ask that all food trucks continue to serve food until the concert is finished.

Wooden Nickels

Experience El Dorado will issue wooden nickels to event volunteers who work two or more two-hour shifts. This is a very popular volunteer perk!

 

Each wooden nickel is worth $10 at Food Court and Artisan Market vendors. Bar vendors are excluded.

​

At the end of the festival, an Experience El Dorado representative will come by to buy back any wooden nickels redeemed. Buy back is $10 per wooden nickel.
