About the event
The El Dorado, Kansas Memorial Day Services Program will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 26, 2025 at Sunset Lawns Cemetery.
The program and events are sponsored jointly by El Dorado American Legion Post 81 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1174.
There will be a dedication of a bronze Tactile Braille American Flag on behalf of George and Theresa Fagg during the Memorial Day Program at Sunset Lawns Cemetery. It’s being coordinated with the American Legion.
The Tactile Braille American Flag was created to honor our nation's blind veterans and other blind Americans. The original flag was permanently installed at Arlington National Cemetery in May of 2008, by way of the 110th United States Congress.
