Window Display Contest

The Window Display Contest is a fun and festive way for local businesses to show their community spirit and help bring the energy of Gold Fest to life! Businesses are invited to celebrate the heart, history and hometown pride that makes El Dorado shine.

Businesses can utilize whatever materials are on hand to make a window display. Whether you arrange your products to look like iconic El Dorado images (an oil derrick, the courthouse, downtown sculptures, etc.), or you paint a giant sunflower on your shop window, there is no wrong way to capture what makes El Dorado great.

All storefront businesses in El Dorado are encouraged to participate, whether you're downtown or elsewhere in the city. Let your windows tell  a story of celebration and golden community pride!

Window displays will be posted to Experience El Dorado's Facebook page for the community to vote on their favorite.

The window display with the most votes will be awarded on the Gold Fest Main Stage on September 26.

Submit your shop window to events@eldoks.gov to enter the contest. Submit your display by 12 p.m. on September 14 to be included in the People's Choice vote.
