Chalk the Walk

Grab your chalk and help us fill downtown El Dorado with creativity! Whether you are an experienced artist or just someone who loves to doodle, this is your chance to turn the sidewalks into your canvas!

How it works

Sign up by September 15 to claim your spot. Sign up here.

Create your masterpiece anytime from September 22 to 24.

Our judges will make the rounds on Friday, September 25 and winners will be announced the same day.

Prizes

We are keeping it simple with two categories:

Artist & Novice

One winner from each category will receive $100 in Gold Fest Tokens, which can be used at the Artisan Market or with the food trucks.

The Theme

All artwork should be Gold Fest Themed. Think celebration, community pride and everything that makes El Dorado shine!

Why join?

Because it is fun, it is free, it brings people together, and it gives you the chance to create something that will brighten someone’s day.

Presented by Equality El Dorado.
