Volunteer at Gold Fest

Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the Gold Fest Block Party! Your help makes this community event a success.

Saturday, Sept. 27, 2025
Shifts available 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Downtown El Dorado (intersection of Central Ave. and Main St.)

Volunteer shifts are two hours each. All volunteers receive a Gold Fest t-shirt to wear during your shift. Volunteers who work more than one shift will receive a $10 token to be spent at the Block Party food court or Artisan Market.

Application Deadline

Apply early for your preferred role and shift! Applications are due by Monday, Sept. 15, 2025, at the link below.

Plan to attend the information meeting:

Volunteer Application

Block Party Volunteer Roles

Block Party Setup

Assist with setting up the Experience El Dorado tent; hanging event signage; etc.

Experience El Dorado Tent

Assist with volunteer and VIP check-in; provide general information to event guests; etc.

Runner

Assist event director and volunteer coordinator as needed.

Kids Zone

Assist with set up and/or teardown; lead interactive stations; assist zone coordinator as needed.

Contest Setup and Teardown

Assist with setting up tables, chairs, trash cans, and contest items; assist with clean up.

Artisan Market

Assist with vendor check-in; booth load in, tear down, and load out; assist market coordinator as needed.

Hospitality Room

Assist with badge checks; restock and tidy up as needed; set up and teardown photo backdrop; etc.

Block Party Teardown

Assist with teardown at the Experience El Dorado tent; take down event signage; etc.
