Endangered Species: The American Farmer

120 N Main St, El Dorado, KS 67042, USA

About

The Noble Waite family has recorded seven generations in the El Dorado area. Desiring to give back to the community and honor their pioneer heritage, they dedicated this work to their ancestors and all who settled Butler County in the 1800s. This sculpture by artist Jim Brothers, who was born in Eureka and lived in Lawrence, was the first to be placed on a downtown sculpture base.
