Sunshowers

In describing her work, artist Jane DeDecker of Loveland, Colorado said, "Some people call my work unfinished because it is more rough than smooth. I don't want the surface of my fingers to seem mechanical or static. A loose, more fragmented and open surface gives a figure greater energy." Chosen by the ArtScape committee, what could be more appropriate for El Dorado than Sunshowers, with that splendidly large sunflower adorning the sculpture.
