Welcoming guests to the Kansas Oil Museum, The Bison was created in 1998 by artist Frank Jensen. Due to the angles and space between the steel bars that comprise the piece, The Bison changes perspective as guests walk around it. The accompanying plaque reads "Spirit of the Great Plains. Life Giver to the American Natives."
