1958 Tornado Victims' Memorial

In June of 2008, members of the El Dorado Rotary Club dedicated a memorial to the 13 victims who lost their lives in the 1958 tornado. The memorial features 13 pillars and an Aeolian harp, capturing the wind's soft melody. Placed directly on the path of the twister, the harp design represents the community's spirit, which was bent but not broken that fateful day.
