About the event

Members of the Butler County Historical Society are invited to attend the Annual Meeting at the Kansas Oil Museum on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, beginning at 5:30 p.m.

This year’s theme, “Fueling Our Future,” reflects the exciting work ahead as we continue strengthening the museum and preserving Butler County’s rich oil and community history.

The evening will include a brief annual business meeting, installation of officers for the upcoming term, and a short program. Executive Director Bailey Martin-Rutliff will share her story, her vision for the museum, and plans for the future as we continue building momentum for the years ahead.

During the evening, we will also recognize and celebrate our 2025 volunteers, whose dedication and service play a vital role in keeping the museum thriving.

Finger foods, desserts, and drinks will be provided as we spend time visiting, reflecting on the past year, and looking ahead together.

We hope you will join us for an evening of community, appreciation, and a shared commitment to fueling the future of the Kansas Oil Museum.
