About the event
The Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center and Wichita Regional Office will host an outreach event to support Veterans across central Kansas. Staff at the event will assist Veterans with enrollment into VA health care, explain available VA services, and help Veterans begin the process of filing disability claims. The outreach event will be held at VFW Post 1174 in El Dorado, Kansas.
About 2,300 Veterans living in Butler County are currently not enrolled in VA health care.
To help address this gap, Dole VA is offering another opportunity for face‑to‑face consultation and enrollment, making it easier for Veterans to sign up for VA health care and access the information they need.
Representatives from the Dole VA Health Benefits team, the Veterans Benefits Administration, and accredited Veterans Service Organization service officers will be on-site throughout the event to assist Veterans.
This outreach event is hosted jointly with Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1174.
