
Vendor Information
Thank you for considering the El Dorado Farmers and Art Market! The market promotes items grown, raised and produced in Kansas.

Vendors must apply and be accepted in order to participate. Vendors selling duplicate or similar products may be placed on a waiting list, with 2024 vendors receiving priority. Multi-tier and direct sales businesses will not be approved. No other solicitors will be approved. (Exceptions may be made for special theme markets). Merchandise must be family friendly.
Applications are accepted all season. Initial applications are due seven days before the market. Once the application is approved, the vendor will be contacted.
Vendor fee: $20 per 10-foot by 10-foot booth, per market
Food truck fee: $30 per market
Fees are due the day of the market.

Collecting Sales Tax
All vendors must provide proof of valid State of Kansas Tax ID with application.

The vendor list and tax ID numbers are provided to the Kansas Department of Revenue annually.
​
All federal, state, and local laws governing retail sales tax must be followed.​

Food vendors must provide proof of appropriate licensing with application.
​
Farmers markets and market vendors are subject to inspection by the Kansas Department of Agriculture and Kansas Department of Health and Environment.​
License Resources


Vendor Booth Space
Vendors will receive a 10-foot by 10-foot outdoor booth space and must stay within their space.
​
Vendors must provide their own electricity, using quiet generators.
​
Vendors must provide their own tents/canopies, tables and chairs. Tents/canopies must be weighted.
​
FarmShop offers resources for a successful booth-selling experience.
Vendor Loading and Parking
Check-in at 8 a.m.
​
Limited temporary load-in parking is available in the slanted parking spots to the east of the park. During the market, vendors will park in the Parks and Recreation Department Shop parking lot at 422 E. Locust Ave.

Tear-down begins when the market closes at 2 p.m.

SNAP and DUFB
Benefit recipients can visit the Experience El Dorado booth and swipe their SNAP/EBT card to purchase SNAP tokens.​Wooden SNAP tokens can be used to purchase eligible foods, seeds and plants from participating vendors.
New this year! Aqua-colored tokens for Double Up Food Bucks (DUFB) allow SNAP recipients to match benefits up to $25 to purchase fruits and vegetables from participating vendors.

Kid Entrepreneur Day
Welcome young business stars! Join the July 27 market for a special day dedicated to showcasing kids with creative business ideas.

Registration required. Must follow vendor rules.

Fee of $5 per booth, due at the market.

One six-foot table provided under the shade of the pavilion.

Kid entrepreneurs are also welcome to set up their own tent with the regular vendors.

Decorate your booth to reflect your brand!

Grown-ups can help, but the business should be the kid entrepreneur's idea and work.

All sales are subject to sales tax, but a tax ID is not required unless selling at five or more markets annually. Kid Entrepreneurs can use the certificate in their vendor packet to remit their sales tax. (Kid Entrepreneur Vocab: 'remit' means to send collected tax money to the proper place.)
